Black and white and a bit of red!

Wooohhhhhh!!!! Valentines Day was 5 days ago!!! And goodness was it horrible. For me though, I HAD NO VALENTINE. Naww...im not making this an issue, I dont have 1 every single year! There I admitted it, I didnt have the guts to ask anyone. Although I did get a packet of cookies from god knows who and a mysterious call at night again from god knows who, I have always been fantasizing a bouquet or a private dinner by the beach in Hyatt. At every occasion! Hahaha...too much of a fairy tale in it dont ya think?

Ah well, there is nothing I can do. I shift from the hill of pillows and walk all the way over to my keyboard and start playing Teardrops On My Guitar just to kill the boredom. Believe me, I am still working on it! I play it calmly, singing loudly as I go into the chorus. "Hes the reason of the teardrops on my guitar, the only reason I keep wishing on a wishing st..." my not-so-okay singing ends as another song played on the piano intrudes from next door. That song is seriously familliar. What is it? What is the neame of that damn song?! "CRUSH!" I ran over to the window to check out who was on the piano.

Oh, its my neighbours bro. Gosh, I just love it when a guy plays a musical instrument! Wow he is kinda good. I hum to his playing and stop when it goes wrong. Obviously I can do better ( Thats A Lie). I go back to my own keyboard and continue playing Teardrops On My Guitar. I turn the volume level a teeny weeny bit higher and go into another verse. " So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light, i'll put his picture down and maybe get some sleep..." My singing is intruded abruptly again! My neighbour is playing his piano even louder this time making the mistakes even more obvious. I too, put the volume level higher to concentrate on my playing. "Cuz hes the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only reason why I keep..." DUM DUM DUM! LOUD music is coming from next door over powering mine for the 3rd time. That fellar is playing Paramore! That does it! I turn the switch off from the electrical plug and go over next door.
I gently press on that fancy-shmancy brass coated doorbell. He pops his head out from the living room window and lets out a slight chuckle. 'Hi! What song were u playing? Was it crush?' No renspond. Where is he?

Ah well...I dont want to bother him anyway... I go back into my house straight to my keyboard and start playing a simple song I made up and silence lasted through the whole time, except when my cell phone started to ring. On its scratched screen it said ROY CALLING 014*******. What is his problem now? 'Hello. Amelin? Can you come out to your gate? Its blazing hot! Thanks.'That was the end of the phone call. Oh lord it was hot! I practically run to my front gate.'Hey Roy, whats up?'
'Erhm...nothing la. Sorry just now I went upstairs then only I notice you. Yea it was Crush. Do you erm..want me err to teach you the song? Woah...so hot!' He starts flapping his shirt and I tried not to look.
'Nahh...not now la...gotta finish my homework. Thanks by da way.'
'Ohh...okay then. Later' He walks away humming that song again.

Its just amazing what wonders music can do.

La La La ~

Yea... I joined choir! After 4 years of continuous participation in Choral Speaking, I am finally in something new! Yet the guilt of abandoning c.s.,didnt really affect me! But the guilt of auditioning for Julia's sake turned me 180 the wrong way. Lets say its something like, I join for you, but you didnt get to join while I did. Oh well, there is always next year, and *3 more years* after that.
(* Might change in time*) First practise for choir went well, In some way. I was joined with many others that I knew, and some that I would like to be knowing and some that I definitely DO NOT want to be knowing. I went in the classroom confidently as I had a special friend next to me the whole time, until they broke us up into our own groups. Truthfully, I was expecting worse. Total seriousness, no fun/laughter, and super-duper srtictness. At first I started to think that I will be missing all the fun from choral speaking and the gang in it. The ex-conductor would be furious if he found out if I and a few others abandoned choral speaking and joioned choir.

But the co-operation between the students amazed me, in 1 practise we memorised the 1st songs verses and it sounded pretty good. Jocelyn wasnt that convinced though, and that was the 1st practise so I just cant wait till we hit our limit. We are gonna be awesome, sorry,we might be awesome and ill leave the rest of the criticizing to the fellow gossipers, rumour spreaders and not forgetting the honorable judges. ;D! I was so scared, goosebumps popped up from my skin. A flashback of my PBSM marching team, the squad leader screaming my name at the beginning of an insult and everybody on the team giving me a 'Oh come on. Do it right will ya?!' look which started with the same way the choir started. Questions came shooting in my mind giving me a slight headache. Will the same thing happen again? Will I do good? What if something happens? Im a huge clutz, will I mess up? Im bad enough! Darn that bloody E flat! ". I tought alto was all about singing with your voice and not going high. CRAINGGGG!!!! Thank goodness! 2nd period is over! Its over, its over, its over! I hop like a mad woman around the classroom ignoring akward stares from the basses.

"Hey Amelin. It seems like you find it a bit dull." Ahh....here comes non-comitting friend of mine ( that is a story for later people)
"I dont find it a bit dull. I find it TOO dull!" I protest.
And that was probably the end of the conversation before I strode of to my class quickly.

I climb those steep stairs with a load of 15 kg on my shoulders and slam my bag on the nearest chair. The waves of my toughts went 10 feet high. What do I do? Its like im going to be a victim. I cant quit and neither will the chances of me staying in choir is there.
